What Does Help Find Sophie Do?

Help Find Sophie was first created to Help Find “Sophie”…a lost boxer… on 3/12/12. She was found six days later thanks to all the animal lovers out there by helping to spread the word that she was missing. Unfortunately, the owners didn’t get the news they wanted to hear, but they did get closure. They were extremely blessed by all the supporting strangers that all came together to help them in their search. So now… I am keeping the page up and running to help bring other lost animals home!!! I can’t change the name because I had over 100 likes in a very short time… so the HFS page was kept up to be in remembrance of Sophie…. because of her I created this site….bringing the community together…. AND now offers a support group for pet lovers as well (Sophie died but left behind a legacy) ….”I cant do Everything but I can do Something AND Together we can make a difference in the life of a Pet”.

HFS became NonProfit 501c3 on 6/2/2017. This organization seeks a more humane compassionate approach to help meet the needs of pets by promoting reuniting and rehoming, trying to keep them out of the shelter which creates less stress and less chance of illness and death, the best way to save a life! The means of providing this approach includes, but not limited to, creating a network of animal lovers whose passion is giving animals a voice through the use of social media and embracing, educating, and empowering the local community by touching lives and warming hearts.
